Remote heads are used in conjunction with a remote capable emergency light or remote capable exit sign. Remote capable emergency fixtures allow a number of remote lamp heads to be connected to the unit. By connecting a remote head to an emergency light or exit sign, it essentially creates another emergency light, but without its own battery.
Utilizing remote heads decreases both cost and maintenance. Remote lamp heads are popular for commercial and industrial emergency lighting applications. Since remote heads do not have their own battery, there is one less fixture to test and maintain for every lamp head installed. All types of remote heads are offered, including: plastic, aluminum, outdoor, and hazardous location. Pair our remote heads with one of our Steel Emergency Lights or Industrial Emergency Lights.
