The base model International Emergency Light is constructed from durable thermoplastic. The housing snaps together for easy installation. The wedge-base 5.4-watt incandescent lamps provide ample illumination. A push button for testing the battery backup is located on the bottom of the unit
The heavy-duty International Emergency Light is manufactured from heavy-duty 20-guage steel that is finished with a baked enamel white powder coat. The lamp heads are mounted on top of the unit and can easily be adjusted.
We also offer an International Emergency Light that is designed with a polycarbonate, waterproof housing suitable for wet locations. This is a great choice for more industrial applications where moisture, dust, and other materials are present in the air.
Utilizes 120/277v AC electricity to operate and charge the battery. Comes standard with solid state charging circuitry, low voltage disconnect, AC lockout, and brownout protection. Available in custom voltages upon request.
5.4-watt incandescent lamp heads are provided with the thermoplastic International Emergency Light. These lamps are ideal for common indoor commercial applications such as hotels, schools, and residential complexes.
9-watt lamp head come standard on the steel and wet location International Emergency Light and the 3-hour outdoor emergency light. 9-watt lamp heads are almost double the illumination power of 5.4-watt lamps that typically come on thermoplastic emergency lighting fixtures.
Higher and more powerful lamp heads are also available; please call us to discuss other options and a price quote. Higher wattage lamp heads are popular for industrial emergency light applications. Photometric data is available for all lamp head choices.
The International Emergency Light comes with (2) lamp heads but can also be ordered with one; or no lamps at all. When ordered with no lamps the unit is essentially a power supply for remotely located lamp fixtures. Other lamp wattages available: 12, 18, 25, 30, 35, 55, and even 70-watts.
International Emergency Lights come standard with a 6-volt sealed lead acid emergency light battery. Higher capacity emergency light batteries are available and ordering a higher capacity battery allows for a longer run time and/or higher wattage lamp heads to be utilized.
The recharge time for the battery of International Emergency Light is 24 hours and the max working temperature for the battery is 122º F. The sealed lead acid battery has an average lifespan of 3 to 5 years.

Self-testing - The unit can come with self-diagnostic testing that eliminates monthly and yearly testing of the battery backup system and alerts the user to any problems regarding operational functionality of the unit.
Time-Delay - This option is ideal for installations that are utilizing fluorescent and HID lamps for general lighting purposes. The time delay feature keeps the emergency lights illuminated for a preset period (usually 15 minutes) after power is restored since fluorescent and HID lighting can take 10-15 minutes to reach full brightness, even after a short power failure.
Nickel Cadmium Battery - The unit can come with a nickel cadmium battery. A step above the standard sealed lead acid batter, Ni-Cad batteries have a 5-7 year lifespan, are easier to replace, and decrease shipping weight. Nickel cadmium emergency light batteries are only available on the steel and wet location battery backup emergency light models.

The steel International Emergency Light provides protection from moderate abuse and features a sturdy 20-gauge housing.
