Outdoor emergency lights provide 90 minutes of emergency light via a powerful battery backup. Most units come with a 6v 4.5amp or 6v 7amp emergency light battery. Outdoor emergency lights are constructed from fiberglass and polycarbonate. The seams of outdoor emergency lights are hermatically sealed and fully gasketed to prevent any type of moisture from entering the enclosure.

There are a variety of lamp choices available with our outdoor emergency lights. The most affordable model that we offer, the WPEL, utilizes 5-watt MR16 halogen lamps that are compact yet powerful. For applications that require more light, the WPEL-HD-6 is a great choice. The WPEL-HD-6 comes standard with 7.2-watt or 9-watt lamps. But, you can upgrade the WPEL-HD-6 with lamps that are up to 50-watts each. We can provide photometric drawings that display the exact foot-candle readings of the lamps that we offer, allowing you to know how much light output will be provided.

Cold Weather Emergency Lights

For outdoor emergency light applications that experience freezing temperatures, choose the WPEL-HD-6 with internal battery heater option. The battery heater insures that when cold temperatures are experienced, the outdoor emergency light will still operate and provide 90 minutes of emergency lighting.

Additional Choices

The fluorescent wet location outdoor emergency light is popular because of the highlight output and extremely long-lasting fluorescent light tubes.
