Industrial emergency lights can stand up to the toughest conditions, they are NEMA 4X rated.

The fiberglass housing for industrial emergency lights is constructed from fiberglass. Fiberglass is an extremely durable and resilient material; it can withstand contact with rain, sleet, snow, and other airborne materials. The seams that connect the front of the housing with the back are sealed to prevent any moisture from entering the unit. Industrial emergency lights are UL Listed for wet locations.

Industrial emergency lights feature top-mounted lamp heads. Nine watts is the standard wattage, but lamp heads up to 30 watts are available. Consider the amount of light needed when choosing lamp head wattage.

The capacity of the battery within the unit, combined with the lamp head wattage, will determine the length of time the emergency light will operate in emergency mode. The base model industrial emergency light we offer provides 90 minutes of emergency run time. Increasing the battery capacity while maintaining lamp head wattage will extend the run time of the industrial emergency light in emergency mode. Longer emergency run times are often desired for industrial settings.

There are a variety of options that are available on industrial emergency lights including:

Auto-test – the unit tests itself on a regular basis to insure functionality. Results of the test are displayed by a series of constant or blinking LED lights

Time-delay – If a facility features gas vapor lamps for general lighting purposes the time delay feature is a smart choice. Gas vapor lamps take up to 15 minutes to reach full capacity; the time delay feature keeps emergency lights on during this period of time when lamps are warming up.

Internal heater – This option is for industrial emergency lights that are being installed in outdoor locations that feature freezing temperatures. In such environments, batteries will not function properly. The internal heater enables the battery to remain operable and properly functioning.
