The SALIDA Series is an LED exit sign that features the word "SALIDA" instead of "EXIT". Salida signs are used throughout Spanish speaking countries in Central and South America. They come with a 90-minute battery backup and are available with red or green letters. Salida signs operate on 120 or 277v AC 50/60hz electricity. Our Salida signs can be configured for 220 volt, 240 volt, and other custom voltages. We also offer a model that features "SALIDA" and "EXIT" for dual-langauge applications. The LEDs in our Salida signs use less than 5 watts of electricity.

Salida signs are capable of universal configuration. This means that they come with (2) SALIDA face plates and one back plate. These exit signs can be used for single and double sided applications. Salida signs easily install onto most surfaces. Back mount our Salida sign using the back-plate or top/side mount the exit sign with the included mounting plate. The Salida sign comes with a 3-year warranty and is suitable for indoor use only.

Application

Salida signs are intended for use outside the United States. They are popular in Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, and other Central/South American countries. Salida signs are placed above exit doors and throughout corridors to indicate the direction of the nearest exit. This Salida sign is suitable for indoor use and can be used for both single and double sided exit sign applications.

Installation

The Salida sign is suitable for surface (wall and ceiling) installation. This model is suitable for indoor and damp location installations on normally inflammable surfaces. Use two of three provided wires to connect the unit to AC power. Use the black(120v) and black(Common) wires for 120v AC connections and the red(277v) and black(Common) wires for 277v AC connections.
