Overview

The Spec Grade Red LED Steel Exit Sign is constructed from a heavy-duty 20 gauge galvanized steel for superior durability and strength. It features high intensity red or green LEDs that gives a constant and uniform 3/4" fully illuminated letters. This series of LED exit signs is available in a single or double face application. With the single face application, the 700 Series is available with an optional Emergency Light application. Choices of one or two 6 volt, 5.4 watt high intensity incandescent lamp heads are available for the emergency light option. A flashing LED display in emergency mode is standard with the emergency lights.

Maintenance-free NiCad batteries are used for the single or double faced application of the 700 Series Steel LED Exit Sign. Units with the emergency light option come with the standard, sealed lead-acid battery.

External Specifications

The Spec Grade Red LED Steel Exit Sign features an enclosure constructed from a 20 gauge galvanized steel. 1/8" polycarbonate shield protects LEDs from high impact and abuse. It is available with a choice of white or black housing finish. Single face or double face units are available. With an optional upgrade of emergency lights for the single face units.

Internal Specifications

Red high intensity LEDs provide a bright and clear, 3/4" illumination display for the exit sign. The LEDs last longer than conventional bulb signs, providing up to 100,000 hours of use without failure. LEDs are also excellent for minimizing energy consumption, starting at only 4 watts, and are a great maintenance-free solution.

Electrical Specifications

120/277v AC dual-voltage operation is standard. Other voltages available upon request such as 220v and 240v. The 700 Series provides a short circuit and voltage surge protection for the unit and also features protection from overcharging and brown-outs. The low voltage disconnect elimnates deep discharge.
