Our 150W small HPS wall packs project brilliant illumination in temperatures as low as -22° F. A heat-resistant borosilicate glass lens contains the powerful B17 lamps inside the aluminum housing 

Similar to street lights, high-pressure sodium vapor bulbs are gas discharge lamps that use sodium in an excited state that creates light. HPS has a broader spectrum than than low-pressure street lamps, eliminating that ugly yellow glow common in such lighting.

The best part about the 150W small HPS wall pack is it produces less light pollution than mercury-vapor models, making them a preferred luminary in many cities. HPS bulbs will last about 20,000 hours of continuous use before they need to be cycled out.

Applications

Our 150 watt HPS wallpack is one of the brightest compact HPS fixtures we carry and are a great choice for high or low mounting in apartment complexes, gardens, churches and hotel exteriors. This aluminum wall pack is completely sealed, allowing no water or damp water to creep into the housing and disrupt the electronics. 

External Specification

Built with a hardened, die-cast aluminum casing with an architectural bronze finish. A semi-clear borosilicate refractor covers the lamps inside. Stainless steel screws and gaskets seal the unit completely from outside moisture. 

HPS-150s feature 1/2" conduit entry points at the bottom for surface mounts and conduit points in back for attachment to any 4" j-box.

Internal Specification

The B17 150W tube fits snugly in a 4KV glazed porcelain socket. The light they produce is directed and amplified via an internal anodized aluminum reflector.

A R-NPF or HX-HPF ballast converts incoming AC power into a voltage applicable to the HPS tube and regulates any sudden overloads.

• Multi-tap for 120/208/240/277 VAC

Options

Photocontrol Photocell - Sensor detects sunrise and sunset and automatically activates the light accordingly. Select 'PC1' for 120V photocontrol. Select 'PC2' for 208-277V photocontrol.

Glare Shield - Further discriminates the direction of the lighting cone, preventing personnel from temporary blindness unless looking directly into the lens.

Wireguard - Further protection against vandalism.
