Overview
The 1500W pulse start metal halide sportslighter flood light is still the most common traffic light in most North American cities. Metal Halide lamps produce greater illumination than many LED fixtures, and they consume less electricity.
Our extremely popular 1500W pulse start metal halide sportslighter flood lights are built with a die cast aluminum housing which has a high resistance to weather and corrosion. The housing is coupled with a high tempered heat resistant glass lens which protects the lamps inside, along with a ballast enclosure creating an airtight seal around the internal components. The 1500-watt PSMH lamp fits into a glazed porcelain socket that is rated at 4KV and uses an efficient CWA-type ballast.
