The EXIT-TP-G-W unit features Green LEDs that provide uniform illumination while consuming less than 5 watts of electricity at all times. It comes ready for "universal" configuration, meaning it comes with two EXIT face-plates, a back-plate, and mounting canopy. The EXIT-TP Series can be used for single and double-faced applications and is suitable for top, side, or back surface mounting configurations. Operates using 120 or 277v AC power. Damp location rated.

Application

The EXIT-TP Series is designed for all types of indoor exit sign applications from schools to offices to retail stores and more. The universal configuration allows this exit sign to be used for single face and double face installations. The mounting canopy allows for top, side, or back installation. Requires 120 or 277v electricity.

External Specifications

Entire unit is constructed from ABS thermoplastic. Comes standard finished in white, optional black thermoplastic model available as well.

Electrical Specifications

120/277v AC dual-voltage operation is standard. Other voltages (such as 220v and 240v) are available upon request. The AC lockout feature prevents battery pack discharge. Low voltage battery disconnect protects the battery pack form being damaged by long discharge periods.

Maintenance Profile

The maintenance required for this unit is monthly and yearly testing of the battery backup system per OSHA regulations. The nickel cadmium battery is replaceable.

Lifespan

This LED exit sign has a 8-10 year expected lifespan on all components except the replaceable battery, which only has a five-year lifespan.

Installation

This thermoplastic exit sign is suitable for surface (wall and ceiling) installation. This model is suitable for indoor and damp location installations on normally inflammable surfaces. Use two of three provided wires to connect the unit to AC power. Use the black (120v) and white (Common) wires for 120v AC connections and the red (277v) and white (Common) wires for 277v AC connections.
