The LEDR-5HO Remote-Capable LED Emergency Unit provides reliable egress lighting with built-in support for external LED remote heads. It includes two 1 W adjustable LED lampheads, a 3.6 V Ni-Cd battery, and a 3–4 W remote-capacity driver. Designed for commercial interiors, this compact unit is UL 924 listed for damp locations and installs easily with snap-fit mounting.

Illumination

• Two 1 W LED heads (8 × 0.125 W LEDs each) with chrome reflectors
• HL option: 12-LED, 1.5 W heads for increased light output

Does the LEDR-5HO support remote heads?

Yes. The LEDR-5HO includes a 3–4 W remote-capacity driver that can power compatible 6 V LED heads such as RHLED and RH16LED models.

How long does the battery last during a power outage?

The unit provides 90 minutes of emergency illumination, meeting UL 924 and NFPA 101 requirements.

Can this be installed on a ceiling?

Yes. The LEDR-5HO is suitable for wall or ceiling surface mounting and comes with a snap-fit backplate that aligns with standard 4 in junction boxes.

What is the HL (High Lumen) option?

The HL option upgrades to 1.5 W high-output lampheads for greater light intensity and coverage. Note: it cannot be used with remote capacity.

Is this unit rated for wet locations?

No. The LEDR-5HO is UL 924 listed for damp locations only (0 °C – 50 °C). It should not be installed where it’s exposed to direct moisture or rain.
