EQCSS Series – Thermoplastic LED Exit & Emergency Combo with Remote-Capable Option

The EQCSS Series Thermoplastic LED Exit / Emergency Combo combines a low-profile LED exit sign combo with two fully adjustable 0.75 W LED lamp heads in a slim, UL 94 5VA flame-rated ABS housing. This emergency exit sign with lights features dual-voltage electronics, field-selectable chevrons, and an optional 1.5 W remote-capable output—making it ideal for doorways, corridors, and ceiling-constrained areas.

Illumination

  • Long-life red or green LEDs illuminate 6" EXIT characters with ¾" stroke
  • Even-light diffuser eliminates hot spots; snap-out directional chevrons included
  • Two 0.75 W white LED heads deliver 150 lumens combined
  • 26 ft on-center spacing at 7.5 ft mounting height (open area)

  • Universal 120/277 VAC input, 60 Hz
  • 3.6 V maintenance-free Ni-Cd battery with 90-minute emergency runtime

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this fixture power a remote head?

Yes. The R option includes a 1.5 W remote-capable output at 3.6 V, allowing you to power one compatible remote head exit sign with emergency lights (JLED, RL1-WP, or RL52).

How are the emergency heads adjusted?

Each 0.75 W head is fully adjustable from 0° to 180° to direct egress lighting where needed.

Does this unit include everything for mounting?

Yes. Each unit ships with two faceplates, a backplate, a snap-fit canopy, and all hardware needed for wall, ceiling, or end mounting.

What finishes are available?

White is standard, and black is available using option code BL.

Is this fixture listed for damp environments?
