Frequently Asked Questions
What voltages does the RHLED support?
It operates on 3.6V / 6V / 9.6V / 12V DC depending on the host emergency unit; always verify the host’s output before wiring.
Can I ceiling-mount the remote head?
Yes. The universal adapter plate supports ceiling or wall surface mounting on a single-gang box.
Standard vs. HL heads?
The standard head outputs 1 W; HL models provide 1.5 W with wider beam distribution for greater spacing.
Is it rated for damp locations?
Yes. The RHLED is UL 924 damp-location listed and built for indoor commercial environments.
How many heads can my host power?
Divide the host’s available remote wattage by the head wattage (1 W or 1.5 W), factoring in wiring distance/voltage drop.
