Fluorescent Emergency Ballast – 1400 Lumen Output, 120/277V, UL 924 Listed
This fluorescent emergency ballast allows a fixture to operate in both normal and emergency modes. During power failure, it switches to battery operation and powers one or two lamps for 90 minutes at up to 1400 lumens. Compatible with many T5, T8, and T12 fluorescent lamps, it features a compact steel case, high-temperature NiCad battery, test switch, and indicator light. Suitable for factory or retrofit installation.

Which lamps are compatible?
Compatible with T5, T5HO, T8, T12, and T12HO fluorescent lamps up to 215W. See the lamp compatibility chart for lumen output per type.
Can I power two lamps?
Yes. In two-lamp mode, lumen output is split evenly between both lamps (e.g., 1400 lm = 700 lm per lamp).
Is this suitable for LED tubes?
Some LED retrofit tubes are compatible. Contact the LED lamp manufacturer for confirmation.
What’s the maximum distance for remote mounting?
Up to 50 feet from the lamp, or half the lamp-to-ballast distance allowed by the AC ballast.
Does it include a test switch?
Yes. A test switch and charge indicator LED are included with the accessory kit.
