The TEL Series self-diagnostic testing emergency light is an independent fixture that’s been developed for application within all types of commercial facilities. The TEL-W-AT model is a combination of affordability and compliance and is a great solution for office, retail, and residential lighting applications. The injection-molded white thermoplastic housing is sturdy and resistant to flame and corrosion.

In particular, the TEL-W-AT model comes with self-diagnostic testing which eliminates monthly and yearly testing of the battery backup system and alerts the user to any problems regarding the operational functionality of the unit.

Our self-diagnostic fixture is suitable for wall or ceiling mount and can be installed onto most types of surfaces. The lamps are easily adjustable and illuminated for 90 minutes after power is lost. The universal mounting plate allows for effortless installation. Operates using 120 or 277v AC power. The standard 5.4W incandescent lamps can be positioned as needed. Damp location rating is standard and the unit is UL 924 Listed and code compliant throughout North America.

Application

Emergency lights illuminate the exit pathway in case of an emergency power outage. The TEL Series is designed for indoor commercial use in all types of applications. The TEL emergency light will provide 90 minutes of battery backup-powered emergency illumination.

External Specifications

The TEL Series is constructed from sturdy flame and corrosion-resistant ABS thermoplastic. Plastic emergency lights are favored for their usability and affordability. This model comes complete with two lamps, a backplate for mounting, and all installation hardware. The TEL Series comes with a white finish but is also available in black. The wedge-based emergency lamps are fully adjustable. A damp location rating and external battery backup test button is standard on all emergency lights.

Internal Specifications

Remote Capability - The unit can be outfitted with an additional 6-volt 4.5-amp battery that can provide support to as many as two additional 6-volt 5.4-watt remote lamp heads.

Installation

This emergency light is suitable for surface (wall and ceiling) installation. This model is suitable for indoor and damp location installations on normally inflammable surfaces. Use two of three provided wires to connect the unit to AC power. Use the black(120v) and white(Common) wires for 120v AC connections and the red(277v) and white(Common) wires for 277v AC connections.

Warranty Information

This unit comes with a 5-year warranty against product malfunction. 5-year prorated warranty, 20% per year, for the battery.
